Staff training courses

In the first three months of the year two training courses will be held in our company:

1 - The first course, entitled “Updating and developing the technical-professional skills of employees”, taught by Mr. Campolunghi, handles the following matters:

• METROLOGY: sizes and measurements, English system of measurement, linear system of measurement, measurement errors,  measuring and checking instruments, instruments (size reporting, gauges, comparative), comparators, callipers, micrometers, angular measurements and goniometer.
• TECHNOLOGY: Metallurgy, swarf removal using CNC machines, grinding, tools, machining cycles.
• MECHANICAL DESIGN: Representation of the mechanical design (European legislation, American legislation, reading and interpretation of orthogonal projections, dimensional tolerances, geometric tolerances, surface roughness, removable fasteners (threads).

2 - The second course entitled “An introduction to machine tool programming” and taught by Mr. Corrado Calmini, an in-house technician, handles drafting and developing an NC file using the machine functions.
